Today was my brother’s birthday. He’s now 25. Wasn’t I just 25? o_0; It was also the birthday of one of the Zumba instructors. A couple of ladies went so far as to bring out a cake after the class tonight, which was pretty cool.
I have so much to do in the next couple of days. There’s a huge event for one client coming up, and of course nobody gets me the design specs for products and things until the last minute, so I’ve been up to my eyeballs in Photoshop at weird hours again. Then there are all the “oh wait, one more change” flyers, sponsors who send me their crappy logos in godawful tiny resolution and rampant JPG artifacts that they expect me to turn into flawless 300dpi print reproductions, and another card design. And my friend wants me to design her next tattoo, which is an awesome project, but still in the Yet Another Thing pile for the moment. Oh yeah, and my grad school application essay to write. If I budget my time well, I hope to take care of most of these things by Friday or Saturday (though maybe not the essay just yet, but I’ll give it a shot once I complete the other stuff). Fingers crossed.
