It’s that time of year again. You know, the one with the Jew Tents on backyard porches. :p
Ours has significantly less shiny things and decorations this year than it used to when my brother and I were kids. There was a time when every square foot of canvas had colorful reflections all over it when the sun was out. It was quite festive, to say the least. Now it’s just…boring. I guess it’s a combination of caring less and continuing to forget to buy new stuff as the old stuff deteriorates. I’ll have to remember to buy new foil streamers and things next year to liven it up a bit.
